Pools, Yarns and Avoiding the Blahs

I wasn't feeling up to myself yesterday.  Had the blahs.

I've had a rough couple of years health-wise, and I was just tired, achy, feeling down, and stressing unecessarily on things I can do nothing about.

Instead of sitting here being achy and grouchy, I moved into action!

I gathered the majority of the yarn I need to finish up some custom orders.

I looked at the clock, looked at the front of my refrigerator at a schedule and decided I needed to get back to the pool!

This is the Messiah Lifeways pool--only about 7 minutes from my home.  Last year, I was going here every day.  The have aquatic classes, open pool time, and two family swims through the week.

I have rheumatoid arthritis, and the pool is salt water and heated to about 86 degrees.  So, it feels wonderful!  How did I forget how great this is and start wallowing in my own self again?

I put on my swimsuit and off to the pool I went!  And I'll be going again today.  I'm a little achy from the workout, but being in the water again today will help that.

Before I went to the pool, I finished these fingerless gloves.  These are Susie Rogers' Reading Mitts in Heartland Olympia.

I had a Fall Giveaway at Warmharte Creations .  A pair of these mitts was the prize, and part of the contest was choosing the color you would love if you had a pair of these for yourself.

I'm glad I finished these just in time for some colder weather that is heading our way!

That's all for today!

Talk to you tomorrow!

Beth
